PROFESSIONAL
Lauren Keester grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Edmond Public Schools, grades K through 12. She graduated with honors from Oklahoma State University before completing her graduate degree at the University of Central Oklahoma. Mrs. Keester went on to further coursework and completed two practicums. She loves school.
Mrs. Keester then worked at small, private counseling firm, providing career counseling, vocational assessment, professional development, and expert testimony. Mrs. Keester is passionate about maximizing individual potential and helping individuals realize their dreams. It is the best part of her job!
Lauren began working at Francis Tuttle in July, 2021. She loves the students, coworkers, and vibe at Francis Tuttle. She strives to look at the whole student- academic, emotional, social- and help where she can.
PERSONAL
Mrs. Keester is married to Jared Keester, Engineering Academy instructor extraordinaire at the Francis Tuttle Danforth Campus. They have two boys (the best in the world), two goats, a bunch of chickens, and a big ol' dog. When she is not at school, Mrs. Keester can be found gardening, knitting, reading, or playing games with her boys. Lauren considers herself a lifelong student and believes much can be achieved with a growth mindset.
